So many different brands and types of lubricant! It’s more than a bear can bare! (my writing impresses even me at times!)
Before we begin, let’s define what lubricant does. Basically it keeps your privates smooth and moist so that you don’t rub yourself raw. I know that sounds ludicrous, but Wanky has been hospitalized more than once (47 times) for masturbating without lube. Bad Bear!
If you’re gonna masturbate (especially if you’re a guy), then you need to use a personal lubricant. Girls will usually need one as well (if you masturbate longer than 10 minutes you will tend to dry out). Vaginal lubrication is really important. There are 3 types:
- Silicone based
- Water based
- A hybrid of water and silicone
What’s the difference? Good question!
Water based lubricant is easier to clean up but requires you constantly apply water as you do your deed.
Silicone based lubricant is a little messier but glides better. It isn’t recommened for use with condoms, so if you’re using it for super happy time, then don’t! It could make the condom tear. Babies and diseases aren’t gonna do you right. So use water based lubricant when having intercourse.
A hybrid is usually 60% water, 40% silicone. It is usually condom safe as the water in the gel keep the latex from stiffening up (this is what causes it to tear!)
Lubricants come in many varieties!
- Flavored – wacky tastes like chocolate, banana, and watermelon!
- Heating- warms up as you use it!
- Cooling- a cool sensation when it’s blown on!
